Harry Potter when he's older and all the fun he could have with his powers (including mind control)

I hate to pour cold water on other people's ideas, but I and my children and my grandchildren all agree that HP is like Peter Pan and will remain a boy for ever.

Sorry.

You might be in for disappointment, Charmbrights ... the author herself has said that Harry's going to go through puberty in the upcoming books, get more interested in girls, good stuff like that ;)

Sabledrake (who's written a mildly saucy HP fic of her very own <g>)

No disappointment

That would not be a disappointment. Just thinking of what could be done with a remote control broomstick ... and topless Quidditch ... and ... and ...

PS That was also I above, the registration changed the name a little.

why does it have to be harry potter? cant you just make up some other wizard thing that doesnt desecrate a childrens story? (althought i do admit i did see the harry potter movie lol)

I think

A harry Potter story would be sexy!! Him doing Hermione around the castle and such ....

ilovewriting > aw, heck, I've already desecrated plenty of children's animated movies and television shows ... why stop now? ;)

I mean, there's the "you sicko" letters, but I got used to those years ago when I first wrote naughty Lion King. More than enough positive feedback to offset the bad.

As for the HP books, they may be widely regarded as childrens' books, but I have known plenty of adults who enjoy reading them. In fact, I _am_ such an adult and am married to another.

Some could argue that The Hobbit is a childrens' book too, but what difference does it make? A well-written story is worth the read no matter what group it's supposedly written "for."

My handful of change, anyway.

Well whatever does it for ya. I just think harry potter is one that should be left alone. I mean how far do you go? Next it will play school orgies or something. But if thats what turns you on fine i just think you could just as easily write a 'wizard with powers' story without having to steal someone elses charactors. No offence to anyone intended.

That's Deja Vu for me concerning my A Romp in the 100 Acre Woods I wrote. "You sicko" and, of course, "Tigger is a boy dummy". Such well spoken, intelligent lurkers we have here at Lit. Funny how all of my negative feedback has been anonymous.

<<i just think you could just as easily write a 'wizard with powers' story without having to steal someone elses charactors. >>

True, but then it wouldn't be fanfiction ;)

Tiggs -- you wouldn't happen to have a link to your 100 Acre Wood story, would you? That might be a fun read indeed.

LOL! I guess.

If you look for my Celeb story idea thread in this board you will find links to my works on page two.

oh god no

come on harry potter ? i dont think he could ever get some. why not write a story about his female buddy when she gets older getting gang banged... i could see that..

Sabledrake says

I have to ask.. isn't Literotica a site for original works? If you are going to write a fanfiction why not just post it on a Harry Potter fanfic site. Honestly if you have the imagination to come up with a believable way to morph Harry Potter from a dorky little schoolboy into a grown man using his equipment, then you should be writing the series and not um.. whoever writes it. (sorry, I'm just not a fan.)

If you want free reign with your characters, it's usually best to use your own characters. That way you don't risk all the negative feedback you will recieve for messing with a story that people like the way it is.

Unless you're just one of those "any attention is good attention" people..

:p KJ

Hermione???

"come on harry potter ? i dont think he could ever get some. why not write a story about his female buddy when she gets older getting gang banged... i could see that.."

noooooo!! Ron would be heartbroken!!!

Chicklet, diehard Harry Potter fan

I know Literotica has a Celeb section.. I just.. don't feel that Harry Potter is a celebrity. He's a work of fiction, I don't care if you're a fan or not, he's somebody else's copyrighted character. There's a huge difference in putting a personal fantasy about an actor or sports start down on paper and just.. taking somebody else's story and manipulating the characters into doing things the author didn't intend for them to do.. "fanfiction"..
Eh, maybe I'm just touchy. But I know if someone took a story I wrote and took the characters and put them into a situation they would never be in, I wouldn't exactly be flattered.. time goes into character development and personalities for a reason..
 KJ

Well...

My only opinion about this is I do not feel Lord of the Rings should be "allowed" if Harry Potter (with adult characters) is "not". I never read the books or saw the movie for Potter, but still I feel neither creation is erotic or needed here.

I guess that's the whole reason I'm playing Devil's Advocate here- I don't see the need for either of those books to be turned into erotica.
I'm a huge fan of "owning" your writing- I think when time and thought goes into developing your characters, you come to care about them and what makes them special, and that shines through in the writing. The hugest turn-off about fanfiction is that I know I would read a story and have someone writing "Harry shoved her head down and growled, 'suck it bitch'" when that is so completely out of his character range that it's unbelievable. And who gets turned on by unbelievable erotica?
:p KJ

"I never read the books or saw the movie for Potter"

Tiggs, you really should. They're pretty decent, even if they are a "fad"

Chicklet

So, in theory...

You are saying that the person who came here requesting a Jeniffer Anniston story is fine, but IF someone wanted a story of Rachel and Monica dyking out, that would NOT be fine? After all, Rachel and Monica are CHARACTERS and NOT real people...

THANK YOU, that is exactly what i was trying to say.

But Rachel and Monica are adults who have sexual characteristics written into their personalities. They aren't 12 years old. Friends has had story lines where both Rachel and Monica have had sex and so.. who knows what they do behind closed doors..
Really I'm just not into the pedophilia of the whole thing with Harry. There is NOTHING sexual about the books or his character. It's not meant to be sexual, it's for children. So if you're writing a story about Harry being "all grown up", then basically you are creating a new character anyway, because his character as an adult is undefined. So if you're making up his entire new personality, why not just give him a new name and write your own story..?

KJ, I think that the original post was talking about when he grew up. But I agree with you, there isn't anything sexual about his character. I think that it would be a bad idea to do a harry potter erotic story. That is my opinion. I would not read one.

Chicklet

Yeah, but what about all those people that *do* want to read one? You might not like it, but I can assure you that Harry Potter is very big on the slash fiction sites.

PS My Harriet Hotter series is one of my most highly rated stories, much to my surprise.
