You've got your nerve with all the alts you have and the mean things you say to others. Turn around is fair play.

Nice and sweet. I'm happy for you.

I've never actually watched the any of the Harry Potter movies with my family because I watch them in english and the wife and kids watch them in french. At the movie theater that is, we have watched the DVD's together in one language or the other....

I just got back from seeing it!

And I don't know why anyone would be rude to V_not, she is a very sweet and lovely woman.

I expected a better ending, but I did enjoy it. :)

I took my boys to see all the Harry Potter films and today for the first time number one son is going to watch it without me :( I've been pushed aside for a 15 year old girl wearing to much lip gloss :D

It feels wierd I'm not going with them but I guess an oldie like me would cramp their style. Hope you and your boys have a great time vn  :rose:

I'm on standby, so I won't be able to go with my daughter for another week.

She also has her first boyfriend ... I grimaced last weekend as I bought THEM advanced tickets for a noon showing the day it opened.

At least we can go together to the midnight book sale next week (last one of those...)

Congrats to you V_not ... and $$$$$ now on my ignore list as well.

I went on the first day with my two (14 and 11) - and realized that days like that are very quickly slipping away. We've seen all of them together so far, and I'm crossing my fingers that when the last two come out, they'll make exceptions for an "old lady", and still go with me.

Very nice that you got to go with them!

It's ok,I'm sure if I am able to joined them those previous movies, maybe this time they rather go with their gf's as well.:D Thanks Essa.Don't called yourself old,age is just a number!

*nods* and thanks ;)

My mother and I went to the midnight showing.

She started watching them with me when I was in my late teens and yet we still do it.

Extra butter anyone? :p

Went the day it opened. That book was so long, I knew they would have to cut out a great deal of content for the movie, but was glad to see they did a fairly good job, keeping it true to the book.

Book was better, as usual!

V_Not, it is a great compliment to you that your boys wanted you to be part of something 'just the three of you.' Congrats on that!

I've seen all of the movies with my kids. My son is such a big Harry Potter fan. He was so disappointed after seeing how much they left out in the first movie but wouldn't miss any of them.

Fuck
Harry Potter

Why do idiots enter a thread they are obviously not interested in and whose subject they hate.. just so they can abuse it? What's the point?

Was the title not a giveaway? If you don't like Harry Potter, the solution is simple. Stay out.. just like I stay out of the F to M strap-on thread. *ick*

Anyway... I've read all 6 books, and seen all the movies. I thought Gary Oldman, Jason Isaacs and Alan Rickman (as usual) were superb, and it was very well done.

Can't wait for the book to come out on Saturday (my birthday!! yay!!) :D
