I really think Harry might die in this one. If she keeps him alive, another book will come out, even if she doesn't write it, and that would suck. I am so excited though. The next movie comes out 7-13-07.

i can't wait!!!! i'm so excited! i read the 6th one in the less than 6 hours after i got it! i'm going to reread it before the next beek comes out and i'm going to reread the 5th before the movie comes out lol

and i must say i'm adicted to thte fanfiction too.... i'm quite addicted to the fanfics.... especially of the Draco/Harry persuasion

Does anyone else besides me think it's going to be hard for the movies to follow the books anymore since they neglected certain details? (example: Rita skeeter is a beetle/amnigus in the books (and that played an important part later) but that was never shown in the movies)

yeah i know what you mean about harry dying..... but i've scoured and analyzed the prophecy for ages and i can't find a single loophole that would mean both had to die.... but if harry dies does that mean voldermort survives? i mean it's even possible that because of their connection that harry has to die as well.....

and in all honesty i've been following a fanfic that uses "harry became a horcrux himself after killing old voldie" as part of the plotline what does everyone think about that?

big fan over here. I know they have to leave a bit out due to time and all but there are some things that are just too good to be left out. Wasn't upset about the SPEW mess being skipped but I there are some pretty good things coming up in Phoenix that will look great on screen if they keep them.

Mwahahaha.... *purrrrrr* i really can't wait to see what they do with that..... *Giggle* and with the spew thing i'm not quite sure what Rowling was going for.... maybe the house elves help the final battle? i dun kno.... personally i can't wait to see grimmauld place and tonks as well.... but why does the end of OoP have to be so horrible!!! i won't spoil for no-readers but the thing with the veil should never have happened! i personally think she should write a way that harry fixes that.... or something....

oh and did i mention that in most fanfics people seem to think draco has veela blood? opinions?

If you buy what JKR says about him having to go at it on his own then it's ok I guess. Of course there is great debate about is he/isn't he dead.

the release of the book surprised me. being that close to the movie is kind of strange. Going to create some issues with promotions and the like.

Harry and the Horcrux is where I'm putting my money....

Excited about it, but I'm gonna try to not talk to anyone or go online or watch tv when it comes out because some douche is going to ruin the end. I just know it.

I'd rather read it for myself and then freak out about the ending.

I just hope no one pulls an Annie Wilkes on JK Rowling. ^^()

personally i've wanted to send JK Rowling mailbox bombs because of character deaths........ but i don't think i ever would because i love the books too much.... and i don't know how to make bombs ;^_^ i don't want to hurt the nice lady who created a wonderful world for the rest of us to enjoy!

personally while Harry has almost always done the really tough stuff alone i wonder if that has been orchistrated by people like voldie and dumbledor... so i personally think that the true defeat of voldie will come as a semi-group effort.... even if Harry does the final deed himself his freinds and others will still help him get there....

I dont see what all the hype is about, but I usualy more indepth books like Dune than artisy magic books

personally while Harry has almost always done the really tough stuff alone i wonder if that has been orchistrated by people like voldie and dumbledor... so i personally think that the true defeat of voldie will come as a semi-group effort.... even if Harry does the final deed himself his freinds and others will still help him get there....

I'm one of the "Harry's the seventh horcrux" believers, and I have a feeling (or more a hope, I suppose) that Neville has a major role in the end. He's just such a lovable guy and he's had the crap end of the stick for most of the series, so it would be nice to see him involved.

so its kinda a moot point to go the library

ya, 600 + pages isn't exactly a quick read. I tried the book on CD version....I suggest you stay away from that option....

Had a couple discussions with a few friends about that. We basically decided that Snape is on the "good" side and that what Dumbledore asks him (I won't mention exactly what for those who haven't read) was not out of mercy or desperation, but like a favor for a good friend.
