Harry Potter dead???

In a recent interview, Rowling said that two characters will definitely die in #7, and that she was still undecided about Harry.

Obviously, the loser of the Harry/Voldemort battle will die. My other guess is that Snape will die defending Harry.

Noo! Not Snape!

I think that what she said was that two of the main three would die.

TWO OF THE MAIN THREE!?!??!?!??!?!

WHAT!?!?!?

Someone find that article! Are you serious!?!?

That means Ron, Hermione and Harry... two of the three of THOSE!?

oh my god.

If that's true, I hate this woman already...

That's what I read on a newspaper (actual paper) maybe a month ago. I will try to find it online.

I just want to read the seventh book so I can go back to rewriting them the way I want them to be.

I have a hell of a lot more fun with Draco, Harry and Snape than she EVER could.

:p And anyone who doesn't believe me can have a copy of Our American Cousins, for the asking.

Library!!!
Are you kidding, SK? A person would be walking into the library to return that book and get mugged for it...*snerk* It would never be in to be borrowed.

well... my mom works in a library, so one would think this makes me privileged - but with the last book, she forgot. but anyway, it came out when i was in south america... and when i got back, she kept forgetting to sneak me into the list... so i read most of it in a bookstore (going there each day, reading a chapter at a time in the ground floor, and then another chapter in the other floor where they had it too) before she gave it to me.

Not sure what your library system is like, but for a book like that, the waiting list will be in the high hundreds ... and for the new HP, they'll start the list six months before release date. It's liable to be out in paperback before it comes available through the library.

PS Tom, you need a literary sugar daddy to keep you up to date on the newest releases.
They're all women, and while that isn't a problem in and of itself, the fact that they all look like librarians is. ;)

This doesn't clarify much, but this is what she said in the article Dran started this thread with:

"We're working towards the end I always planned but a couple of characters I expected to survive have died and one character got a reprieve," she said, declining to elaborate.
