Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets was good. It's more violent than the first and "darker". I enjoyed it. I highly recommend it, though it might be too scary for little children (rated PG).

Anyone else see it?

Yep. Twice now.

What kinda weak-kneed kid would be afraid? It's not the 50's anymore.

And I'm a dirty old man--Hermione's a cutie.

She is. I'm hoping they're still making movies when she hits 20 years old.

My neighbor has a 4 year old who says he wants to see it. At that age, he still considers things that he sees on the screen as real. His older sisters will be able to go, but the 4 year old will have to wait a while.

Yipeee!!!! LoL I'm gonna go see it tomorrow afternoon :D

RastaPope, If you're a dirty old man..then i'm a dirty old woman..LoL Because the weasley twins and Keeper oliver wood are nice looking..LoL:eek:

Harry's voice is deeper...I can't believe I'm saying this...but I find him so attractive this time around...how old is he in real life anyways?

I loved it...although I thought the last 3 or so minutes were not how it should've ended...i won't say more out of respect for those who haven't seen it.

LoL Yeah he's pretty nice looking too. I'm not sure how old he is though, maybe 13-14.
Awww, The ending isn't up to par??? :(

They all look like they've grown more than a year since the last movie, but that's all it's been.

I saw Emma (Hermione) on an interview and she said that they're starting shooting the next film in February.

The next one is going to be even "darker" with those things that suck the life out of people...forgot what they're called, the guards from Askaban.

They still give me the creeps and it's been several years since I've read it. You can charm them away with positive thoughts..to a degree...but I don't have a magic wand (well, not really magic).

*Expecto Patronum* I think was what it was. I haven't read it in awhile myself..LoL.

Do you know if she's going to make all her books movies? I'd be really intrested in seeing The Goblet of Fire. That book was pretty dark as well.

(I don't have *any* kind of wand) LoL

Remember the stag? That was really neat.

I thought the John Cleese would crack a few jokes, but no.

My 'Wand' has created some rather magical experiences!! :D

I'd be glad to let you create some magic with it! :p

Yeah now that you mention that, he sure didn't goof around, they could've made "Nearly Headless Nick" a funny ghost...LoL

The stag!!! Prongs! I might just go read the Prisoner of Azkaban in a bit..LoL You got me in the mood..LoL :)

I haven't picked up a HP book in awhile. I expect i'll have to blow the dust off them..LoL

Yeah, I'm 23, &, I think the same thing.

Philosopher's Stone was a shite film, but the kids enjoyed it. My nephew and niece are both obsessed with the books. This one might be good, b'god!

Hoowhaa! Some one hit the jackpot. A film the kids can enjoy and Mummy and Daddy can jack off to.......

found out today that daniel radcliffe is 13...maybe he has an older brother?

Actually the guy who played lucius can warm my bed any day...it's that british bad guy with white blonde hair thing...yum!

I saw it this afternoon, not bad; once again, pretty true to the book.

The only real disappointment is John Cleese. What a waste. I'd be tempted to say he phoned in his performance, but he probably did, so is that a valid criticism?

My sixteen year old daughter had a thing for Alan Rickman (Snape, Sheriff of Nottingham in the Robin Hood Think, "Pride and Prejudice"), but I think the Lucius Malfoy character/actor may have shifted her affections.

Oh, I'm so glad that I'm not the only one! I kept thinking about what he would look like when he's finally 'legal' .......... he's gonna be a doll I think!
;)
(I'm ignoring the fact that I semi-perved on a 13 year old *shudder*)

I thought the ending was a little 'weak' also but I loved the movie and so did my kids.

Saw it and loved it. It's my favorite book of the series. The movie did a pretty good job of it, it was a lot darker than the book was, but the acting felt a little off. I can't really put my finger on it, but something was off.

Ron's hit puberty! LOL. His voice was so much deeper now than in the first movie and he was cracking everywhere. He reminds me of myself often (chess player, fear of spiders, has an entertaining family, etc).

Too bad about Richard Harris though. But I hear the new guy is good. Who's the new actor they got?

The basiisk was pretty creepy.

The guy that played Lucious Malfoy was the same guy that played the evil Colonel against Mel Gibson in "Patriot". He was really mean in that movie too, and ended up killing Mel Gibson's son (Heath Ledger).

Nasty, nasty. I knew I didn't like him as soon as I saw him on the screen. He does a good job of being evil.

Back to work for me.

I loved it...but seriously...didn't anyone else think 3 hours was a little long even for HP?
