Laurel said:That movie is definitely in my top 5. I really dug that movie as a young 'un. I had it on video, and I've probably seen it literally 100 times. My favorite scene is the one in which he's with his military uncle, and Maude is supposed to be a war protester, and they chase her till she falls into that hole. I also like the bit where he announces to his mom that he's in love with Maude, and then they show his mom, uncle, and the priest talking to him about how disgusted they are. I love that movie. I want to go watch it again.
My torts are named Harold & Maude, btw.

I loved how all of the people that lectured him had a gold framed picture behind them to represent their two dimensional perspective - the Uncle had the Military Hero, the Pyschoanalyst had Freud, the Priest had the Pope. Nice touch to the scenes.Laurel said:I also like the bit where he announces to his mom that he's in love with Maude, and then they show his mom, uncle, and the priest talking to him about how disgusted they are.
sigh...I just watched this movie for the umpteenth time last week. It reminds me to L-I-V-E LIVE! otherwise, I got nothin' to talk about in the locker room
