I would recommend spending the extra. If it's all new start with a toy, if that's enjoyable then spend the money.
My husband asked on here and took the advice.
Get a good quality harness and dildos that and it should be made of medical grade material. That way they'll last and not break down.
This was our first strap on so I can't compare.
