Anyone have advice on a harness or rope work to hold a dildo in my wife (vag) while we're playing?
Go-To dildo is a Tantus Echo, vibrating with round base and no balls.
I'd imagine a leather chastity belt would hold it in place but appears the belt would cover her clit - ideally something that easily secures the dildo and keeps the clit accessible.

I would run a rope around her hips or tummy, whatever gives you the best anchor. Tie each end off in front of her hips, bring them down on each side of her labia, and tie then under the base of the dildo. Tie again-- if there's some stickout of the vibe, you can tie around it, maybe. Or maybe a coin knot would create a flat base that the toy won't slip around?
Then pull the two ends up, one over each ass cheek, and secure to the waist rope.
If she has a buttplug, obvs, the rope can hold that in too. otherwise the jockstrap style gives you access to that hole.

You can tuck her labia on the outside of the rope in front, expose her clit.

I was going to suggest Stella, she knows how to do this, although rope techniques are difficult to describe through text. I took a beginners quick rope bondage (didn't even get close to making a strap on harness) class and really wish there were more. It seems if you're not experienced at Shibari you're SOL in my neck of the woods.

the other easy option but less aesthetic is to try using a wine glass lanyard....sort of thing that supposedly people use at parties, hangs round your neck and you slip the wine glass inside - you could add a bit of material inside to seal off the opening........
perhaps more usable for something like a magic wand....then tie off the lanyard to anything around the waist

I agree to make a harness yourself. Leather work isn't that difficult but there is a slight learning curve involved. My ex had a custom made harness that held her elongated egg and strap on at the same time. Something about rotating her hips while humping made the vibrator churn in her.
