Hard returns.

I'm ready to submit a story, but I'm having a formatting issue.

I've written it in MSWord and now, when I cut and paste it into the submission box, the returns leave it looking like this:

"I'm so very pleased to meet you Jenn," I said, leaning over to kiss the back of her hand like a good gentleman. "You are very pretty. It's an honor." It was sincere.
"Why, thank you Joe. You're so kind."
"Joe," Brian said, breaking my lingering gaze into Jennifer's eyes. "I told her you make a great tequila sunrise and Jenn said she would like to try one. Can you hook her up while I go upstairs for a bit?"
I had been a bartender part-time while I was in college and Brian's bar in the basement made me feel right at home.
"It would be my pleasure. C'mon Jenn. Let's go downstairs to the bar and we'll fix you right up."


Instead of what I'm looking for (and reads much more easily) this:

I had been a bartender part-time while I was in college and Brian's bar in the basement made me feel right at home.

"It would be my pleasure. C'mon Jenn. Let's go downstairs to the bar and we'll fix you right up."



I've written a fair amount and the idea of manually putting those returns in doesn't excite me quite as much as beating my penis with a ball peen hammer.

You need to edit when you post

It usually takes me several hours to post a story. I try to be careful, but sometimes glitches get through. Patience is everything, in writing as in the rest of life.
