Happy Sunday

I call dibs on the headlight!

Got a squirrel in the trap this morning. Watering 24/7 now and still the 'tater vines are dying.

Looks like we'll be doing some digging today; chickens have already dug up three spuds.

I have potatoes coming up in my compost pile. We have been getting enough rain to keep them going.

Because I don't water the compost pile, no matter how brave the volunteer.

I haven't seen any city bunnies, but the Regular Varmints are alive and well.

What doesn't come up in the compost pile?

:D

We recently got one of those big barrels. It works really well!

I might get another one...

NOoooo...they are illegal in Queensland, I love indigenous varmints..like,wallabies and koalas and dragon lizards....
One persons varmints is another persons cuddly :D

Does that include, what's the word I'm looking for???

Oh yeah...

Boguns?

:D :D :D

The eternal problem of the ground compost seems to be the seeds, but when you open that barrel and see the steam rising, you know it's cooked...

We have both going. I fill the barrel with the ground stuff for a final cooking.

That sounds like a good plan. I am never sure mine is cooking correctly . . . in fact, I suspect that it isn't.

If it were a weasel casserole, I would be more sure.

I suppose the Hung-over Crowd is sleeping in.

*slurps coffee and lights a Camel*

I don't either.

I just keep boiling and adding chili powder...

:) Never know what you're gonna get!

*looks out window and then turns and eyes .22 rifle in the corner*

The squirrel pickings aren't too shabby around here.

They have no predators . . .

except Wat.

The trick to making compost is: Leave out the lumber, plastic rope, old oil, and junk bicycles.

I have misplaced my live trap.

I guess I lent it to somebody and never got it back.

I loathe people like that.

Maybe I should go through my book shelves, just to be sure.

To make great compost leave out the plastic rope, whisky bottles, old oil, and junk bicycles.

i love that car! it just needs a little tlc.

That car is a piece of dog shit and a money sucking vortex.

I spent $6000 restoring an old truck that was worth an easy $3000 already restored.
