I'm kind of glad I missed it.
It is interesting to see the way people jump in to identify themselves as a member of the subset that the OP is seeking. It's almost like they somehow believe that belonging to this clique will be enough to get them a gig.
It's also quite gratifying to see that there are people who are prepared to call the OP on it, and to do it calmly and politely. There are a couple of posters here who just went up a few notches in my estimation.
