Have a great day all!

*Wearing red rose with pride*

It's great to be English!

Hope your day is great, whatever your nationality!

*smiles*

Was a lovely day with lovely weather!

Seems I'm the only patriotic English person around here! :(

Hey ... don't feel sorry for the Dragon ... what about the poor Maidens who he ate ... an' jus' cos they're Delicious is NO excuse!

*chuckles*

(Maybe my fantasy is a knight in shining armour?
I'm certainly sold on the whole Medieval and Honour bit.
I'll play Guinevere or Damsel opposite anyone who wants to put me into or out of "distress")

Ahh but

those maidens wanted to be eaten by that looooong forked tonuge. *L

Yes dear faithful Guinevere. *g

No disagreement there. Both at fault, but there wasn't a rape so she was at least willing, if not eager too.

I don't know about the forked tongue ... but I could see you as an avaricious dragon ...

Actually ... an idea springs to mind ...

*ggls*

Ummm.... imagination running wild...

Now giggles,

you know you have to explain that to me don't you?

Come on explain away. *G

And right now at almost 3am is Australia's and New Zealander's ANZAC day. Lest we forget.

I wont be getting any sleep attended a evening service a few hours ago and about to head off to the dawn service.

Anzac Commemoration Thread

Lament

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
We will remember them.

- From Sydney Evening Service 2004

Stand at attention in real time and render a crisp and proper military salute for fallen comrades and allies in their memory.

Those Aussie SAS in Viet Nam were some truly righteous soldiers and brave men Peter.

Hi Bruce,

They sure were. The Australian SAS units are prided on their abilities and their codes of honour and discipline world wide.

Soon I will trudge off with some relatives in a hour and make it to the Sydney War Memorial for the 5am dawn service.

It is a special yet solemn day for Australia, Canada and NZ.

A favor please.

Open a beer for me and pour it out so those who've gone before can quench their thirst and smile knowing neither they nor their ultimate sacrifice are not forgotten.

Hey mate! Don't forget to save the last swallow to use to toast them with.

We Yanks don't forget those we served with.
