So many things to celebrate this weekend! The anniversary of Greatest Country in World History, passage of major tax cut and spending reform legislation today, the spectacular performance of US military might in Iran, a strong economy and rising stock market, low gas prices, a string of excellent Supreme Court decisions, and now this!

I agree with some of that- America is a great country and while I didn't agree with basically igniting another Middle Eastern war- yes, our military did perform well. God Bless.

But what is "Excellent" about the recent Supreme Court decisions basically handing this country to the oligarchs and would-be dictators? Or stripping away the Constitutional checks and balances, and personal freedoms? Where's the greatness there? That is nothing to celebrate. That is something we should be PROTESTING.

My taxes will actually increase due to the "Tax Cuts." They are robbing the poor and middle class, taking food away from children so the oligarchs can get yet another tax break- what's there to celebrate about that? "Robin hood in reverse" economics. Where's the "Good" in that? Well, maybe you are a billionaire, so I guess if I was in your shoes I'd be celebrating too.

The rest of us should be protesting this bill. I know I will be. I don't want to see socialism, but I want to see fair economic justice. Not Reverse Robin Hood. This is a sobering holiday for millions who will be hurt by this bill.
 
If there is a God, there doesn't seem much of a reason why they should discriminate against brown peoples on the behalf of White Supremacists.

The bill extends the current tax brackets, rates, standard deduction, and AMT threshold with inflation adjustments. It also includes lots of new tax breaks. What provisions will cause your income taxes to increase?

The courts did not hand away our country, it reminded the judiciary that judges need to abide to constitutional principles of separation of powers. Unelected judges don’t run the country.

You need to stop watching MSNBC, and for God sakes stop ingesting that bile that comes from the mouths of Hakeem Jeffries and his posse of anti American propaganda spewing dingbats.

And your obsession with No Kings Day is weird. Why do you object to peaceful protests?

By the way … construction spending is falling, hiring decreased, inflation is rising, and the value of the dollar is falling. But Trump says he’s about to reinstate his bigly tariffs, so that ought to be distracting for a few days until he TACOs again.
