It's a goddamn mayhem out there! Some neighborhoods has teamed together to compete in loudness and excessive fireworks. Some show. I think that it is smoke, and not fog that drifts between the streetlights.

I remember when I went to a Stockholm Water Festival, and they had an International Firework Competition. Spain's contribution was breathtaking.

I can always see the fireworks from my windows too. I go through this twice a year though - Chinese New Year's is much more fired up than Jan. 1 (my neighborhood's majority is Chinese).

My niece is spending the night so I just went out and bought goodies for us and an $18. half-bottle of real Champagne for myself. I only mention the price for Mhari's info, haha.

I've also gloated about my 2nd prize, written stories so steamy I had to get some relief in between each one, I've screamed in rage at a stupid link that doesn't work, I haven't bothered cleaning up tonight EITHER, I've worked like crazy in order to make $75, and I'mjalous at MV for beating me in the contest.
