Potentially, as some of you may be aware of his work.

Australian Garth Knight and has taken the art of Shibari to a whole different level in my estimation. Well at least the foundation premise for it, the man sure knows his rope.

Okay so it's not all strictly rope and there is an creative anarchy that surpasses the pristine expectations of the craft, either way I think it's superb.

Happy New Year Litsters !

I don't keep an account to host images any longer, links are safe though.

Wow! You're right-- I've never seen shibari quite like this.

I'm wondering if some of it is digital/virtual work only. I'm looking for information on the artist-- not finding much.
garthknight.com doesn't have a bio or about page...

Hey Stella to the best of my knowledge it's not digital based, try Google images under "Garth Knight Artist"

There actually seem to be a few artists working this way. Wouldn't surprise me however if the work is digitally enhanced though or that he works across various mediums and has established a meld.

See what we can mutually dig up.

Have to admit on closer inspection I can see a rope going through a rock in one of the images, either bloody fine drill work and pre planning or as you accurately observe has been enhanced or created digitally. I saw images like the one above at roughly the same time I saw the first image of his work and I desperately want to believe this is a flesh and blood rendition. Not crest fallen if it isn't, just would add some pathos in the execution.

Cool and pretty.

Also sparks new idea. Suspend boulders above sub. Hmmmm

I really like the one that looks like a human heart-- complete with aortic and pulmonary circulation nearly anatomically correct.
