Thank you AA. They were so proud of the flowerpots they painted, picture frame, homemade cards, all that good stuff. Very yummy. (But the four year old did sneak up to the top of the fridge and empty the few I hadn't shared from the chocolate box. Not so good at resisting temptation at that age.) Then we had a lovely day at the beach. Funny how satisfying all that classic sappy stuff can be. They're great kids and I'm very lucky.

I had to go to a wedding today (outside, in the woods of Maine, in 40 degree weather and rain) so I didn't even get to be with my boys (3 and 5) today. But they did make the appropriate pre-school gifts for me.
