Happy Halloween!

Linked via an article trying to dispute the notion that women's Halloween costumes are "getting less sexy" on the basis of a couple of interviews and the data that searches for "sexy Halloween costume" are down over the last couple of years. Seems to me that there are multiple explanations for the trend in search term usage, not least of which is that the costume sellers have so many sexy costumes in their catalogs that no one needs to use the word "sexy" any longer to find that sort of costume. My zombie defenses are in place.

Also, my tradition is to go to the grocery store and buy only four things: a big bag of candy, some apples, rat poison and those old straight razors.

Well my son wanted to be Napoleon and not the stupid, stupid movie one. Being a crazy vintage collector, I am patting myself on the back at what I scrounged up this morning.

Thanks. He's too old to be trick-or-treating but will be at a party.
I used to go all out and do a haunted house in my yard, I'd be a clown with a chainsaw and chase people. But then my son got older and I started living my 20's in my 30's and going out partying instead.
I also hope no kid ever calls me "Loverskitten" lol!

I had to put together a few costumes for the weekend. Luckily, I'm a dress-up freak and had everything but devil horns and well, my old crop had broken, so it was an excuse to hit the tack shop.

Good kitten was a bad Cat for one night. Yeah right, just one night :/

At least you weren't giving out similes and zeugmas. My kids used to really hate getting zeugmas among all the Hershey bars.
