Happy Easter!

He is risen indeed! Happy Easter to all! May your hearts be filled with love and your stomachs aching with chocolate!

Happy Ester to you to babe. However, even though she knows its easter because she was hunting eggs while it snowed we got told 'tricker treat and Merry Christmas, Happy Easter' by the little one! *giggles*

Ducks! My father got my kid baby ducks.

Peep, peep, peep, peep, peep, peep, peep, peep, peep, peep, peep, peep, peep, peep, peep, peep, peep!

Happy Easter to one and all. :D

My cat thinks so too. Dad will be getting them back in a few weeks. I live in a large town. I don't think the neighorhood dogs will allow them to live long--LOL.

Awwwww....maybe they can live inside?

Wait, maybe not. LOL about the cat. I'm sure your feline is confused. :D :D

He is risen indeed, Hallelujah!

My ex-bro-in-law orchestrated giving me a live duck (full grown) for Christmas. He thought he was really funny until the entire family backed away from the storm on my face. Mad! I didn't quite see red, something I have done in the past and hope never to do again, but came close. Humorous gifts became much less common after that. BTW, my sister replaced him with a much higher quality male a couple of years after that.

I'm so glad my daughter got toys and chocolate and eggs today...no live ducks *LOL*

Happy Easter, EL.

My granddaughter isn't getting chocolate from us - the other grandparents have over-provided...

She's getting a book that makes duck noises. She thinks that all large birds are quacks. The seagulls are getting confused.

boo got only 3 chocolate eggs, most got her non-edible treats. I think it worked well as she never eats more than a few eggs anyway :)

Happy Easter!

No livestock for us either, just Peeps. Hubby had to work, which was a bummer, but I had my family over for a nice, low-key lunch. Too much food, too much cake, but it was all good. Kidlet got a Pokemon kite and money, since he's allergic to chocolate, so he was very happy.

I always felt sorry for my chocolate rabbits. Ate the ears first...as if preserving their faces and bodies would be less painful for them.

"That must sting," I'd then realize. So I'd have to finish them off.

Eating an entire chocolate rabbit can be unpleasant, for the child as well as the rabbit.
This is why jellybeans are a good idea.
