Happy Boxing Day, Lou-lou........sorry to disappoint you, but we ain't the only ones:

boxing day

I know you'll appreciate this. I have just spent the last two hours watching one of the gifts from the youngest...............

...... a four-dvd set of..............St. Trinians films !!!!!!!!

Hilarious. Perfect Boxing day entertainment. I could definitely see some of you guys as the 6th formers, in the short skirted gymslips, black stockings showing acres of thigh.......wonderful fun.

Oh, ok then, it is unique to some of us in The Commonwealth. :D  (And Holland!)

Very cool! I've just spent most of the afternoon singing karaoke with my kids (my parents got them a karaoke machine for Christmas - wonderful! LOL! :D).

I used to wear just that when I was in the 6th form. :D

Lou

How embarrassing. Not really unerstanding, I thought, if it is boxing day, I should box. I did take the guy out in the second round.

Now why does that not surprise me in the slightest, hmmmm??

Thanks, even though we don't have Boxing Day in my part of the world.

I haven't forgotten, see, how utterly closed up everything was in London on Boxing Day. (What I really couldn't understand was when things were still closed up the day after...I mean, Boots? come on! If Walgreen's were to stay closed for 3 days I think the stock market would plunge and there would be rioting in the streets...

OTOH, a little bit of quietude wouldn't come amiss. Today, the guys got cabin fever so we went out for a bit of a ride. To my surprise, the traffic on Atlantic Boulevard slowed to a crawl alongside Regency Mall, almost as if had during the intensive Christmas shopping period. And the damn mall was open! On Sunday. Sheesh...
