Brings a bit of a lump to the throat, seeing those kids singing the Anthem with such verve and pride and representing the generations of their predecessors of all ranks who volunteered and gave their lives that we might enjoy all the freedoms of our nation.

I wished all the Canucks and honourary Canucks a happy day on my Canada Eh to Zed thread. And, no worries, the holiday is not that big of a deal to us...other than the extra day off for most folks and the pretty fireworks.

I think it borders as spam. First, they lure you in with an impossible offer. Something you should know better than to think anybody could offer for FREE. But, offer it they do and all you need to do is click on a link that takes you to one page that probably asks you for an email address. Simple enough, right? And you fill out the necessary information, assuming that's all they want. But the next page requires even more information and so you fill that in. The next page requires something even more until your privacy is so far gone, you can expect spam emails for the rest of your life.
Even if you do make it through the maze of hoops and hurdles, the final offer is not at all what it was in the original tease. My advice? Don't even click on that link, because the offer isn't free and that's all there is to it.
Oh, did I remember to say spam? Plus, the single post number should tell us something.
