How do you feel about your birthday? Does it bother you getting older? Or are you just comfortable in your skin, no matter what age.

I cried when I turned 25 and 30 and every year after that until I hit 35. Now I just say, meh, whatever. I will be 48 soon and I am adjusting to getting close to 50. I have yet to cry though.

I love my birthday! I actually get irritated by those who ask if I'm celebrating 29 again, or whatever year they choose for me to seem younger, instead of my now well earned 48. I love to celebrate my day because it's all about ME! Don't try and take it away from me by making it lesser than.

Happy Birthday to you Pink, whenever your special day is.

Every birthday my toes are still above the ground is a good one!

I can't believe nobody had a birthday thread for Laurel yesterday (nobody who wasn't on my ignore list anyway!). And this was the big 40 for her!

birthday celebrations are for children.

When people do celebrate, I love it when they buy shitty grocery story cakes, I have no problem turning those calories down.

I'm not big on my birthday. It's simply a day that something happened. I acknowledge it, but wouldn't care if no one else did. Some of my favorite birthdays were times I did something fun with people who didn't even know it was my birthday.

40, for the fourth time, no less. :rose:

I didn't expect a thread. I am not nor have ever been cool. :JAJ: But I had sweets, so I'm good.

It was your birthday?? And no birthday thread?? I know exactly how you feel. :(

Eh, I am only happy about my birthday 'cause my company gives the day to you as a holiday.

How do you feel about your birthday?

Hmm.

Never really had a good birthday, so it's whatever. Usually I just go to work. I share a birthday with another person in my family who's older than me, so it's not really mine, anyways.
