today is the birthday of my dear friend SJ--happy birthday, SJ!
SJ, you've been in every regard a great friend--not just to me but to others as well. and you, my friend, are truly exceptional. you're a great friend, a great mother & wife and a superb teacher--after all, you've certainly taught me a great deal, but in that way that the greatest teachers have, you've taught me not only something i didn't know in o so many fields of knowledge, but about myself.
and to me, that is the very apex of teaching.
so have a great, great birthday, my dear friend. heaven knows you deserve it! :>
