I have to say, it has been a Hell of a year. I'm sorry I haven't been around recently. It's because, if you can imagine something traumatic - it happened. It all happened. Bereavement, tick; major family illness, tick; having to go for a scan myself (don't worry, I am fine!), tick; Christmas (oh, you all had to survive that, but believe me - mine was so pants it had Sloggi written on it) and lots and lots more that was even harder to get through - some of which I am still going through. (That was all in the last six weeks, BTW.)
Some of it you were there for (remember that line manageress
? don't worry she is still around! plenty stories to come, LOL), then it all got too much and I was blurting in a very boring way so I snuck off. I got my family through it, I picked up two extra teaching contracts, I fed cub scouts galore burgers and chips (one day I was feeling lazy and offered to take them to McDonalds but they refused on the grounds that my chips, I mean fries, are better! .)
I just put in a funding application to support my blog Feminist Erotica (see signature for link). I want to do some outreach work with university students and see if I can make their miserable little sex lives and contorted anxiety-ridden selves a bit easier by giving them access to quality erotica. It was a doozy finding three referees for that! (I was unable to resist putting for the job title of the third: 'Doyenne of burlesque troupe'.) I have been working hard to review as much of your work as I can squeeze on: latest entrants, the noble Og - King of Bashan, Redzinger and AreaMan. All of them definite

Today I felt fat, stale and unprofitable when I got up (with apologies to Alfred, Lord Tennyson, LOL). I failed to wash my hair and lay about eating guacamole on speciality bread and watching LOTR1 in a desultory way in between running out to fetch in the laundry (I was so p***ed off I couldn't even be bothered to make JohnEB put his jeans on and help me, LOL. Oh, dear! he is covered in cake crumbs. Dahlink, I will just brush those ones off your crotch).) In spite of my surly attitude, friends came round and brought flowers and chocolates, you guys remembered me and posted in here .
I have been eating pizza with pink champagne and watching Star Trek: The Search for Spock, and I think I might be regenerating. Watch this space <snerk>.
