:rose: Let's not forget the guy who always remembers :rose:

Peacemaker, thank you for your sense of humor and fairness.
Thank you for your encouraging and thoughtful comments
Your thorough reviews, jumping in whenever a question comes up....
For all you do, these "buds" :rose: are for you
:rose: :rose: :rose:

Happy Birthday Leon!
Many more to come!

~Anna

I better jump in here ~ ;)

I remember when Leon would visit the threads and comment on just about every poem to hit the submissions page. Very fair, critical and fun.

Leon, we love your sense of humor, your insight and now we get to enjoy picking your poems apart to just what it takes to make a damn fine poet !

Hoping you have the best Birthday ever and please take time
to smell the roses ~ But please don't eat the daises !! :D

Happy Happy Birthday Leon ~!!!!

:rose:  :catroar: :p :cathappy: ;)

Oh, you're a Christmas baby!
Mine is after Christmas. Do you get a lot of combo gifts? Know what I mean? ;)

Happy Birthday Leon!!!

:)

For one of the nicest guys around

(Day after) birthday felicitations to the most gentlemanly denizen of Litpoetland. Hope it was a happy day, Leon. :)

Many thanks during this busy holiday season for stopping by to remember. For those with still forever to go, turning 60 feels not much different from 50 or 40, though I seem to remember a bit more energy around turning 30. So I guess I'll keep on kicking till at least somewhere between 90, 120, or death.

Thanks to Tzara, Vampiredust, neonurotic, and normal jean for taking the time to remember.

Thanks RF, but if Daisy has no objection, perhaps she'd like being eaten. :catroar:

WickedEve, the holiday season sucks for birthdays as a kid, those combo gifts being the worst. You share a b'day with my sister who was born 1 yr & 4 days after me. We'd get our presents on Christmas and our b'day celebration was done on the 27th as a joint deal. Talk about getting shafted!

Anna ~ thank you so much for taking the time on Christmas day to pen such lovely sentiments; you really made my day! Hell, you took my breath away!

So now the only question is, when does middleage begin ~ was it yesterday or perhaps it'll hold till 65? :D I'm in no hurry.

Thanks y'all for the additional wishes from Lauren, blue, flyguy, Unbridled, clutching, and Art. Belated wishes when the b'day's on Christmas aren't really belated, not when you're with real family instead of hanging around internet sites.

This Sunday night, when you're filled with good cheer, fill up beyond capacity if y'all are at home. Let your guests spend the night, fix 'em breakfast in bed, going home with stomachs filled and heads clear and able to relish the entire new year.

Tris, thanks so much for the thought. I just love that Joni Mitchell snippet you have there; reminds me of Meg Ryan {You've Got Mail}, one of my all time favs!

I was sure this thread died the last time I posted here.

Thanks to Sinamynlee, Patrick, & lobomao for the b'day wishes.

And I trust everyone's having a great start to the new year.
