Ugh. I had even set an alarm on my phone to remind myself to come in and wish him a very happy birthday. For whatever reason, it did not go off, and I spent the entire day outside weeding my yard, to get ready for a party coming up next weekend. Here I am, crawling in bed at 11 and for him it is already after midnight so it means it's a belated birthday wish. But I would rather leave him something, than nothing at all.

Thanks Sassy, Numeniusa and Hornblende, no worries on the cake I've been cutting carbs so none of that. I splurged and made smoked ribs and some grilled veggies yesterday. It was great.
