As unhappy as I am with certain policies, laws and elected official right now, I'm happy to be living in America and to be an American. (We have the means to change things here if we really want to, whining isn't usually very effective though. )

I'm so thankful for this holiday this year too! Why? Because I get a break in my work schedule. I get to breathe, at least until I see my In Laws. *chuckles*

GOOD point!!!

We have a cat who sits in the window to watch but the other two get snug in a safe relatively quite place and then want snuggles after.
