Happy Birthday, Aiko!

The most important lil lady in my life was born a year ago today. I never considered myself a cat person - in fact, I used to laugh at "cat people" - but Aiko changed all that.

Cake, cake! Only for us - not for Aiko, though. Maybe some tuna... Yesterday Manu and I took Aiko to the beach for her birthday. She'd never seen the ocean before (which is funny, 'cause we live like a mile away from it). She ran around the tide pools and fell in the water...she had a lot of fun, then slept soundly under my comforter at home. She's so good - such a lady! So polite! So confident! A perfect baby..lol...

Laurel I hear you, your talking to one very proud Mummy here. I love watching it when my little man learns something new or, shows you something that you didn't realize he could do.

It's the same with you and your little one, although she is a cat you still love her just as much as I love my son.

Just gave her a little Birthday tuna, and set the remainder of the can outside so the stary kitties could share in the party. Now Momma's gonna get to work on the new scripts. Manu and I are going to spend yet another weekend concentrating on loading up the scripts.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Lasher. He's been helping us in the mind-numbing task of moving over 3000+ stories from the site into the new database. At last count, we've moved over 1768. This means we're on target to (hopefully) launch the new script by the end of the month. Woo hoo! Now THAT's something we can all celebrate!

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Lasher. He's been helping us in the mind-numbing task of moving over 3000+ stories from the site into the new database. At last count, we've moved over 1768. This means we're on target to (hopefully) launch the new script by the end of the month. Woo hoo! Now THAT's something we can all celebrate!

Whoops! I almost missed this. With all the emails I've been getting from Laurel screaming, "FASTER! FASTER! ENTER MORE STORIES!! NOW!!" I haven't been able to pay as close attention to the board as I should. Heck, I had no idea she was such a slave driver when I agreed to do this... You'd think she was doing ME a favor by letting ME enter stories, LMAO... (I am just kidding people... Don't get all bunched up, k?)...

Seriously, though, the timing has been pretty good on this. I'm in the middle of a two week vacation between leaving my previous job and starting my new job, so this has been helping me fill up a lot of free time that otherwise would've been spent doing whatever menial tasks my wife could've possibly dreamed up. So, fortunately for ALL of us (lol), I've been able to put a lot of time into entering stories this week and I'll have a lot of time this upcoming week to do the same. And from what I've seen of the new script, it's gonna make a lot of people really, really happy when it's up and running... Especially THX1138, LOL.

I wanted to be able to say that my cats had something nice to say for Aiko's birthday. But, honestly, they are far too self-absorbed to care about anything but themselves. I did mention it to them, but all they did was mutter something completely unintelligible under their little kitty breaths, so...

And I almost forgot to say that you're welcome, Laurel. I'm more than happy to help out.
