No, no, it's not july yet <g>
And not the 4th for that matter either.
But it IS my4 year anniversary of being collared to Ma'am today. I couldn't be happier. Not that I'm *surprised* our relationship has lasted; I've known from the beginning it was for life. The thing is...this is a very important thing for me. Friendships, relationships....unless they are family, just simply don't last for me. I don't have friends from childhood or high school or college I still keep in touch with. Even friends I deeply cared for and attempted to maintain relationships with have fallen off the face of the earth. I'm not in contact of any type with any of my previous D/s relationships or play partners. This saddens me because I'm the type that really treasures longevity.
Then came Ma'am. She's been a friend and confident for nearly twice as long as she's been my Owner. It's been 4 years since she collared me, took me as hers officially. We've had our ups and downs but always, constantly, solidly sits the knowledge that I am going nowhere, that our relationship will always BE. Nothing means more to me than that.
So thank you to my Ma'am...for always being there, for always loving me and training me and keeping me. I love Her, and as always, I look forward to the rest of our years.
