Just finished the third draft of the second book (only 22 more drafts to go!) and I am feeling kargin' fantastic!

Wanted to take a moment to wish all of my Litster friends a wonderful New Year and may 2013 bring you all kinds of awesome. Thanks so much for being my work-day diversion and for all of the kind words, support and praise you gave me through my roller-coaster 2012.

I know you're all a bunch of pixels but I still love you. ;)

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you, too, my friend! And even to Lance, too ;)

And to you and all my pixelated - and pixilated - friends here:

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!

Happy third draft, indeed! :rose:

And to everyone else, as it appears to be the mandatory social protocol, I wish you all a very happy new year. [/sheldonvoice]

Something tells me that 2013 is going to be a helluva good year for many of you. Here's to a great year, my friends! [/yankvoice]

Congratulations K!!

And Happytacular New Years to you, too.

Cheers! :rose:

There is going to be some scary life changing stuff this year. We will need to hold each other's hands... it always helps.

Happy New Year! May all your troubles during the coming year be as short as your New Year's resolutions. :D

I've been doing my yearly going over priorities thing. I don't make resolutions, because why waste my time over something that I won't follow through on? However, I think everyone should know their priorities so that when they're faced with a decision it will help them make a decision that fits in with those priorities.

My rambling point? lol I was wondering what changes you are planning to make? Assuming you want to share. One of my priority changes last year was putting myself and my health in the top five. The reason I chose this is because when I'm not in pain I'm a better mom and wife and those are in my top three. This year, as part of that priority change, I'm going to start exercising. My mom found a yoga class that we're going to take together.

Happy New Year everyone and congratulations Keroin on the third draft!

Yay on reaching 3/22! :) (Just wondering why 22 specifically?) And Happy New Year to everyone! (P.S. I love Sheldon! And my honey got me a t-shirt quoting him - "I'm not insane. My mother had me tested.") LOL

Happy New Year everyone!!

This is going to be a busy years for me with many changes. I will turn 50 this year. My eldest daughter will be going off to college (she got accepted into her #1 choice school with a substantial merit scholarship! \end mommy proud blurt). My youngest will start to drive.

There will be significant changes in my profession, I'm in healthcare. Not really sure how all that will settle out but fortunately being a military spouse has prepared me to roll with frequent changes. I'm looking forward to the challenge.

My husband is changing jobs, we will have some financial challenges, my mother is getting older and needing more care. But I'm confident I can handle all this, too. Every morning I wake up with my husband's arms around me I feel a wave of blissful gratitude.

My D/s relationship will continue to change, evolve positively. I have learned this last year how incredibly strong our love is for each other. This will be our eighth year together. He makes me very happy.

This year I will be confident. I will continue to be the kind, thoughtful, gracious person I have always been. But I will also stand up for myself more. I won't concede so easily just to avoid confrontation. I will voice my views, I will listen. I will say no when it is the best for ME.

I will have more fun, more new experiences, more adventures and less drama, less stress and less waiting this year.

This will be a freakin' fabulous year!

Thanks for the good wishes everyone!

Velvet Bubbles - 22 is just a random number, lol. It's a (slight) exaggeration of how many more edits I know will happen before I feel the manuscript is ready to become a novel.

I'm smiling right now to read everyone's positivity about the year ahead. No telling what life will throw at us, but it's always nice to know there are a group of people waiting just a mouse click away to cheer you on. :)

My 2013 started perfectly, with another 5-star review on Amazon.com. The bad reviews are on their way, I know, but it's nice to have a bunch of good ones first to soften the blow! :D

Congratulations K! I am still in awe of your ability to actually get the words out of your head and onto paper/word processor/napkin. And then getting those words published... :nana:

I hope I can be a dancing banana like you one day. Till then I'll sit at your feet and soak in whatever teachings you have for me. I must warn you though, I can be a bit of a dunce...

Thanks RB! We're all dancing bananas in our own way. ;)

And we're all dunces at the beginning of anything new. One step at a time, remember to enjoy the journey, and be kind to yourself. :rose:
