I am a very lucky man. I met her on a blind date. I had just broken up with someone, and a friend thought I needed cheering up.

We met in August, and were married in January, on my parents 25th wedding anniversary (that is why the weird date).

I could not imagine my life without her. She is my lover, my best friend.

The snow is going to keep us from going out tonight, guess we will have to wait for the weekend. No big deal.

Time for me to logoff and find something else to do. Bye for now.

It sucks that I can't drive, so I couldn't get her a gift or anything that she would not have known about.

Now, the next day, I think of FTD. Dummy dummy dummy.

The roads were so bad due to the snow that we couldn't go out. Changed our plans to Sunday.

Lobito it can, you just have to be willing to work at it. You will have to give in sometimes. You will have to admit that you were wrong when you were wrong. Don't wait for her to be the first to apologize after a fight, even if you were right.

I read something a long time ago that I have always tried to live by, I can't remember who wrote it. But it works.

Never go to bed angry. Meaning work it out before you go to bed. Don't let it fester.

Congratulations Teach.. 18 years is an acomplishment, I know how much work it takes to get there.

Just one piece of advice if I may...

The work you've put in to get here.. don't stop, don't sit back and think..ahh we've made it, it'll be ok now.

Cos it won't... that was pretty much what my hubby and I did. Then last October, just after our 30th wedding anniversay... we separated.

So, my love and best wishes to you both for a long and happy life together.
