Both Hanukkah and Winter Solstice occur on December 21st this year. Which to celebrate

I'm neither jewish, nor a pagan. I celebrate anyway.
Good for you! And good idea. We should all celebrate all the holidays and send a message to all those who want us to make this time of year only about Xmas! This is a time of celebration, of stars, new born suns and flames burning the night long. This is no time to be exclusive. :rose:

I don't have any problems with being inclusive, but I still think that it is important to try to put the "X" back in Xmas! (I DO wish the Druids down the block would take down their Winter Solstice decorations a little earlier than April, however!)

Fancy the Solstice falling on Kislev 25th:D

Start with the Solstice - it only lasts a day - then switch to Hanukkah for the next 7 days as there's lots of good food involved and candles rather than tree hugging.

If you're Jewish, Fuck a pagan.:D

If you're a Pagan, Fuck a Jew.:D

If you're a Jewish Pagan, It's Obvious!

But a bit of a problem.

I'd postulate that it becomes more of a product of the two former conditionals.
