I remember my mother telling me, many years ago, that the first thing a person looks at is your face, and the second your hands. So I've always paid attention to mine, keeping my nails trimmed and the cuticles well-exposed. In consequence I find that if a woman's hands are uncared-for, it's a turnoff. Not a deal-breaker, but not an attraction.
