taking large scenes and reducing them to the shortest way possible. no rules. the ultimate is one word. finality.
this is not a contest. just my thought.
is there a "technical term" for this already? call me a dumbass, i don't know.

Now that I got that out of my system, what do you mean by "large scenes"?

brevity?

that's ok safebet.

the given moment. even when reflecting on let's say a flower there is always a background. the moment. what you hear, see, smell, taste, touch and feel (inside) is a factor in all translating of a moment for an individual.
poetry is a form of it. but what would you call the thought i have? anyone?

what if you took a word and made an expression of it? one expression. some kind of look, or movement in its simplest form. but only one.

it sounds like what you are doing is 'connecting'.

minimalism?

you say the word 'laughter'

i conjure up a complete scene where many people are laughing joyously, someone else might conjure up a baby laughing, yet another might see an image of a clown, etc.

does it have to be a verb? i don't think so.

if i say 'mist', what do you see?

is this the kind of thing you mean?

:rose:

come sun
burn away the night
warm our bones
make us smile
a winter morning.
the hunt begins.
