You guys are so hard-headed. The ENTIRE Country voted Republican and not just for President......its a complete rejection of liberal policy, and its been building over the years, not just this election. Unless Trump totally implodes this County, I don't see a massive change in red to blue....

As for the House... well, in some southern states, GOPs win 40% of the votes and 60% of the seats because gerrymander.

Meanwhile, GOPs face dwindling demographics. Their major tool is voter suppression -- they know they can't win free and fair elections with large turnouts. A shitload of disinfo helps, as does the rigged Electoral College. GOPs will strive for dominance, not governance. GOP are fucked long-range.

Will Tromp betray his plutocrat class and reverse the concentration of wealth and power in fewer and fewer hands? Will he re-industrialize the country and force failed mines and factories to reopen? I doubt it. Will the left-behinds Bernie and Tromp energized live any better in the near future? How?

No. Actually it says more about how deeply flawed the thinking at DNC was in promoting a candidate who had so much baggage. Bernie would have had a better chance. But no, sadly the DNC treated this cycle as a coronation instead of running a smart campaign.
