Halo RP

Anybody wanna try this out with me? I was thinking something unrelated to the games plot. Maybe a group of marines on an outpost. The covenant have wiped out the rest of the planet and the outpost was forgotten, now with the covenant in control of the planet the marines have to go on a mission to take back the planet by freeing hostages and finding other settlements on the planet that survived.


Just an idea though, if someone else has something please share.

Eve was colonized decades ago, small settlements were quickly set up and the planet was scoured for usable resources. Since it was still early in the terra-forming process Eve was operated by a skeleton crew more or less. A few thousand people planet-wide. The majority of the UNSC forces stationed on the carrier Violet Horizon which is in orbit around the planet.

Secretly on planet a weapon has been in development. The weapon is highly experimental and may turn out to be a failure but the UNSC command has banked on the weapon leading them to victory against the Covenant Juggernaut.

Secrets don’t stay hidden forever though. The Covenant located Eve and Violet Horizon, a fleet too great to repel attacked the Horizon and it was sent crashing to the planet. The planet itself was then bombarded and virtually all life was destroyed only to have the covenant set down and claim the planet for their own.

What they didn’t expect however was for there to be survivors. Deep in an underground facility a special ops team has been in charge of guarding the facility and the scientists within it. They survived the bombardment but have been locked in the facility since the power to the station has been lost, only auxiliary remains.

The group of survivors must not only find a way out of the facility but track down the Violet Horizon if they hope to escape the planet and warn the UNSC of the Covenant force.

Okay so this is what my idea was, I’m open to suggestions and other ideas. Right now I am thinking this is pre-halo games and I only expect basic knowledge of Halo, you don’t have to be a rabid fan. If someone wants to be a Spartan they can be, though they will obviously be more work.

Personality: Can be cold and stand offish and doesn’t make friends easily but is dedicated to her job and her brothers and sisters in arms. She’s quick to put anyone in their place if they discredit her due to her looks and is more than willing to prove she is more than a pretty face.

History: Born on a ship she grew up in the military and always knew she’d be serving her people one day. She didn’t however know that she was picked for a very top secret project from a young age. She was entered into the Spartan I project in the early goings and like many she was found to be not quite suitable enough to complete the program. She did however receive attribute increasing treatments that have made her stronger and faster. That combined with her tireless work ethic have helped keep her in shape and ready for battle whenever it comes.

"Appearance: Evangeline Lilly"? How about a description to go with that?

And if you would be so kind, post up the baseline stats for Spartans/humans, for comparison purposes. Also what is available for abilities (if any), etc. In essence, show that you've thought this out and that you have a plan. Try to sell this idea to others.

And just so you know, I haven't bought into the idea of a Halo RP just yet. Need a little more convincing.
