It's horror.

There are socks involved.

It's definitely Halloween.

One of my first readers told me it was "sick and twisted stuff" heart: you too, S-Des) and that I should be ashamed of myself.

Somebody dyes.

I went with N.O.T.D. It's the best of the bunch (at least for this story). To me, it's the finest sock story yet (eight words I never imagined coming out of my mouth). Jammies, you've corrupted me!

The villain just HAS to be named Gold Toe. And the American agent Bond works with is Munsingwear. One of the Bond girls is L'eggs? Nude, with a cool cotton crotch. I love the idea of the socks tumbling in the dryer for the opening sequence! Backlit, in slow motion!
