Halloween is almost upon us...

Hey all,
Due to my lack of a digital camera, I’ve been reluctant to post any images or start a thread since I can’t really share the kinds of photos that dominate the Amateur Pics. Nevertheless, I do want to share with you all, emerging from my lurker cocoon by starting a thread that celebrates my most favorite of all holidays, Halloween!

Since posting pictures on this board tends to showcase the exhibitionist in us all, I’m guessing I’m not the only one who takes pleasure in going ridiculously overboard to come up with a unique and inventive costume idea. I’m hoping that by starting this thread, you all with share images and stories of costume parties, masquerades, and Halloweens past, present and future. Plus, I’m currently at a complete loss for what to do this year, and the clock is ticking…

Anyway, I hope you all will join in my reindeer games. I’ll start off with one of my two costumes from last year (I couldn’t go to two different parties in the same costume, particularly with the drastic transformation that came with the second one – had to keep that a surprise.).

This is me dressed as Kevin Matchstick, a character from a comic book called Mage.

Here was the second costume from last year... Beaker from the Muppets. I shaved off the beard completely which took many of my friends by surprise. Some didn't recognize me at all.

Here's one from two years ago where I dressed up as a giant lobster. The photos I have don't really show off the tail, unfortunately, but it was this scalloped cape that was pretty damn cool. The glue holding the felt claws together disintegrated by the end of the night, but it was a fun costume regardless.

Well, handful of views thusfar and no comments. Linus and the Great Pumpkin would be very disappointed in all of you.

I have a handful more to share, but I guess I'll wait to see if anyone's interested first.

In the meantime, this isn't the place to be shy, folks. Show me that time you dressed up as Elvis or Jesus, or when you went as Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf, or a vampire, or Harry Potter.

Hell, there's enough of us here with school-girl fetishes. Why not just post those. Any costume'll do.

Or barring pictures, tell us a story -- like the time I had just moved into my Junior dormroom at college, a brownstone of about 20 people and we were supposed to have a costume party meet-and-greet to get to know one another, so being the ass that I am, I get decked out as Alex from A Clockwork Orange and stroll downstairs with bulging cod piece to discover that I was the only one in costume and half the people there had never seen the film. Sorry no photos to document that shame. But you get the idea.

Okay so this isn't exactly me dressed up, but it's of someone very close to me... and maybe he isn't the caped advenger... maybe a bunch of us just got really drunk (which does happen on halloween so there's my relevance haha) and decorated this poor fool....
