I'm a firm believer that nobody is too old to play dress-up!

So what are you going to be this year? Planning on going to any costume parties? My outfit idea came to me when R (my sometime girlfriend) decided she wants to be Little Bo Peep. The girl is 4'11" so she'll be absolutely adorable in her frilly petticoats and shepherd's crook. Also, in the opera she and T are starring in right now, T is the Big Bad Wolf, a role I very much like him in. So I got to thinking...Bo Peep. Big Bad. And me, the helpless little lamb caught between the two!

It's a fantastic outfit, very clingy and sheer and almost too darling. Big pink bow and everything. Can't wait to show it off!

You?

i'm going as alice in wonderland (costume pending, i'll make it when i have the time!) my 6'3 160lb friend ian (super tall and super thin) is gonna be the mad hatter and my best friend amber is gonna be the white rabbit! TOO cute!

i agree with you Quint...your never too old to play dress up. i just have no idea what i am going to be. i think it will be a cheerleader...i think. my mind may change at any time...;)

I dress up every year. This is my favorite holiday, and I usually dress as a gypsy or a sexy witch. I want to find a faerie costume this year, but I have not seen any wings I like. It has been suggested that a few of my friends and I should go as the Power Puff girls. For some reason, everyone says I remind them of Bubbles... cute, don't pay too much attention, but seriously bitchy when I want to be.

My job always dresses up and and decorates the phone bays and has a walk through for local children charities and employee families. I don't know what I'm dressing up as yet, we're still batting around ideas for how to decorate 'our' bay. There's prizes for best costumes and best decorated bays. All I know is we can't be too scary and show too much skin  Wonder why?

I don't know what I'm wearin for the local bdsm club. We have a party the Saturday before. D's guidelines. It has to be sexy, easy to get into and out of and look equally well lying on the floor...

I dress every year to take my girls trick or treating, before going to my Samhain celebration. Last year, i did the witch thing...using lycra, leather, and silver. This year..i will probably do a harem girl costume...using sheer black mesh, black lace and black velvet. (Yeah i know...heavy into black...but tis the pagan, goth, maso-subbie in me!!!)

That just reminds me of my absolute favorite part of the Power Puff Girls...it's the episode where Bubbles keeps taking home animals to keep them safe. The Professor looks into his shoes and sees two pairs of eyes peeking up at him. He asks Bubbles to explain it. She says, "That's Mr. and Mrs. Squeakers! They live in your sneakers." I can't get enough of that sort of cuteness.

Sounds like most of the costumes are going to be a balance of cute and sexy, which is always fun! I was lucky to make friends with a very sewing-machine savvy friend. She's been indispensible.

bunny, since I know you aren't camera-shy, I'm expecting many pictures of all three of you!
