I am one of the people who voted for Martha Coakley.
Nearly half of the people who voted in Massachusetts,
wanted Martha to win.
I was certain she was the person I wanted to vote for,
when I saw that Ms. Magazine supported her.
Reading their blurb, had confirmed all the good things,
that I had read and heard about her.

Some of us have lost a good ally, and a valuable asset.

But all is not lost. There are many who are still there,
that have open minds and open hearts.

The election wasnt horseshoes or handgrenades...close didnt count. Your girl snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

This Tweedle-Dum-Tweedle-Dee split in American public ideals is really fascinating, and really saddening. Obama won by a very short margin, although the actual numbers were pretty decent. Prop 8 won by just a few percentage points. Each half of this country is convinced that they know which way the nation should go-- exactly the opposite way from the other who is equally convinced.

I am sorry that Massachusetts screwed itself.
