Hairy Faces

Of the many hairy men I've known, I can honestly say that I've, at best, tolerated most of them. There is but one I've ever loved the touch and feel and scent of. Just one I ever craved to be snuggled up in, or longed to feel the soft-yet-raggedness of it dragged slowly across my eager skin. It is an acquired taste and one not so easily forgotten.

In my experience, beards are a bit like marmite. It's pretty much love or hate. With a beard down past my Marmite, there are a fair few who love.

I think this might sum it up even better than what I wrote. Sorry I didn't read your post before waxing philosophical ;)

My wife doesn't care for beards, but is letting me grow mine while it's cold *and* I'm on blood thinners. Once I'm off blood thinners, I plan to go back to being cleanshaven.

There is a friend of my wife's that she has authorized me to date. That friend has seen a picture of me bearded, and wants me to grow it longer. (She hasn't touched it yet, though.)

I have recently grown my beard, Im not a huge fan of how it looks yet at least. Wifey seems to enjoy it though, she has on many occasions told me not to shave it.

Bearded

I started growing my beard this time in October. It gets cold here and it helps. I trim and shape it but never cut it down until spring.

Your words were much nicer than mine. I have s beard oil and balm for every occasion. The number of times women get a whiff of it and comment, and want a sniff, and then comment in very favourable terms.
If it's clean, well conditioned and looked after, a good beard can add to the fun.

most definitely i love a good beard.

but some just look good clean shaved

So kind of you to say, but really I am only injuring myself with the memories. Time is not yet my friend, but hope is. /end waxing philosophical. *stifled laugh*

Your balms and oils sound v interesting though. Too bad one cannot acquire a scent online in this day and age. Where is this amazing technological future I was promised as a little baby dork in the 80's, anyway? *shakes came at technology in general before hobbling off to work*

The closest I can supply to scent online is this fella. He writes reviews for beard oils, beard balms, and sex toys.

Seems quite appropriate for this thread and this site 😀😀

Full gambit

I've at least had a mustache for over 40 years. Had a full beard when I met my wife (38 years ago) and she hated it... So it came off.. About 3 yrs ago I grew a goatee and kept it neat a trim.. Till Halloween this year we as part of the costume it needed to be longer and remove the grey. So, the bride liked it softer being long... now we are looking for the sweet spot in length... She also liked the grey being removed.. so now we color the facial hair... note: I dont have that many grey on my head, but my beard is pretty grey...

Thoughts on coloring? And no its not a Ronny Dunn, blond hair and Dark beard.. light to med brown. Like the hair on my head.
