Anyone here have any experience with the Tria home laser?
The latest x4 version has a lot of positive online reviews.

The initial thought is for myself on my balls and shaft; love the smooth feel but don't like shaving - shaving also only does a straight cut across the hair; I'm on the hairy side and grows quickly...

My wife has been doing laser @ local place; we've both been very pleased with the results - she's currently at the tail end of her treatments that have been primarily maintenance as of late.

I know I can expect some pain but figure it would be nothing compared to an epilator I have been considering....
H3LL, if a pro-dom would incorporate a treatment into a session she'd probable see an increase in clientele. ;)

If the Tria would really work on a man's parts I figure it would be well worth the cost; especially considering I'm sure it will get use elsewhere such as maintenance for my wife, my back, ears, etc... getting older and don't want to look like the old guy with hair coming out of everywhere...

Any personal experience / feedback would be appreciated.

MODS: Please move if How To is not the appropriate section.

I am lasered, but I was done professionally at a medi-salon under the hand of a very experienced and licensed aesthetician and technician with a doctor on site.

When I went for my initial assessment, I asked about home laser - including Tria. This was what I got: Do. Not. Even. Consider. It.

The doctor laid it out that a) home lasers are nowhere near as strong as that which is used in a licensed office, therefore any hair-removal will most likely not be permanent b) the user is not trained. Many provinces/states require proper training in order to use laser. Too many things can go wrong c) only a professional can adequately assess if the client is a good candidate for laser hair removal d) the horror stories he told me about skin burns and such was enough to turn me off of laser period and e) it's dangerous.

By the way, both the doctor and aesthetician recommended other certified med-salons if I didn't feel comfortable with them or their price plan. What sold me the place was the fact that the aesthetician refused to book me unless the doc was on the premise, in case something went wrong.

I am usually for DIY beauty regiments. However, when something requires professional training and can cause permanent skin damage and is not guaranteed to be permanent, I'd rather go to a board-certified profession.

In addition, do you really want to trust your testicles to a home-system in the hands of an amateur (because that's what you are, no offense).

Just my inflated, 0.03$ - currency adjusted. :)

FB, given what you said, how is this product available for retail sale?

FB's post does not indicate the response is exclusively in that context, GLG. hence my question.

Home lasers, tria included, are not sold for use on your genitals. If you choose to do that at home, the risk is your own.

There are a great deal of items - household, industrial, and good number of things found at most DIY stores - that are not "intended" for use in and around the genitals, but somehow manage to find their way there.

A friend of mine, an ER doc in a busy hospital, has seen the results of a good number of carnal misadventures. He still is occasionally surprised by what he finds, after being told "Don't ask me how it got there doc, just please take it out."

He has also seen some pretty nasty burns, irritations, and bleeding-where-there-should-not-be-bleeding as a result of some genital grooming mishaps. The above posted advice is sound. There are just some things in life, like laser treatments that could burn and damage tissue, that are best left in the hands of those qualified and trained, even more so when dealing with the sensitive areas between the legs.

oy.. you've been talking with my beloved. He's convinced that "the cock rings from the plumbing section at Home Depot" are just as good.. lol

Ed, when the op stated, "The initial thought is for myself on my balls and shaft"
- - I assumed he meant his genitalia. If you have other ball pictures, please post! ;)

WARNING: Do not look into laser with remaining eye.

I've had quite few laser sessions and I wouldn't trust MY body to an amateur - you only get one body.
Loved the Warning notice Hypoxia :D
Why are Trias even sold? Why are guns sold (in America)? Money...

OK, look. I'm going to take one for the team here and let you learn from the experiences of ones wiser. DO NOT stick random things in/on your genitals if they are not made for it.... especially if you're a delicate skinned little flower like me.

I did this once (ok twice), and I had the most painful vulvar/vaginal dermatitis you can ever imagine. I'm not kidding, that damn thing burned like nobodies business, and itched like the bites of 14,000 mosquitos. Of course, when something itches, what do you want to do but scratch? Then what happens...more itchy, more burny and now a little weepy!!

Are you saying you had a weepy vag?

I had one, and I know one. *points*

*gives middle finger*

Some here are familiar with my hair removal attempts in the past. They pretty much always end in misery. Rainshine got to see my face about two months ago when I tried to use Nair to remove my facial hair. It burnt like a motherfucker.

Well, I've used this Tria. I used to have one in my home (damn you Kim Kardashian and your smooth skin and false advertising and massive boobs!). Then I sent it right the hell back. This was... Maybe two years ago?

It sort of hurts, man. I couldn't imagine using it on my balls. I would seriously recommend against this.

In the end I had to seek medical treatment, and after about 3 months of applying cream and lots of salt water sitz baths, my sweet delicate little vagina went back to it's pre-horrific state.

No, I'm not telling you what it was. Perverts.

Just blink twice if my guess is close.
p.s. - isn't there is a picture thread somewhere around here depicting your participation in some unconventional activities that would likely require treatments with salve and ointments?

You should update the Fashion Fairy thread with this. Many a fella could benefit and learn from your experience.
