SUPREME ROWER
I 've waited to post this thread so everyone hopefully will now have had the chance to see this GREAT achievement. Yes I'm talking about true Olympian Steve Redgrave and his historic 5th gold medal . The first ever to win 5 consecutive GOLD'S in an endurance sport.
This unbelievable athlete has competed in 5 Olympics and has won GOLD each time.
L.A . 1984 - Coxed Fours
Seoul 1988 - Coxless Pair
Barcelona 1992 - Cox- less pair
Atlanta 1996 - Cox-less Pair
Sydney 2000 - Cox-less Fours
After Atlanta he gave permission if anyone saw him in a boat they could shot him. But four years later aged 38 and been diagnosed as diabetic he won gold a true champion, not forgetting the other three rowers who were part of Olympic history and the making of a legend. Matthew Pincent, Tim Foster and James Cracknell.
WELL DONE AND CONGRATULATIONS
A quick question for all the track fans who do ya think 's gonna win the 400m Alvin or Michael ?.
