Will all those highly productive and valuable federal employees be fired or transferred to a different useless agency?

My guess is that the Unions will sue the law, filing in the Ninth, and prevail sending the law to the SCOTUS where all bets are off...

👹

CongressCritter Gaetz... 34 years old. That't too young to remember the 70s.

Rivers caught fire. Cars melted into rust from acid rain. Couldn't see from one ridge line to the next due to the smog. Toxic chemicals were buried in back yards.

Oh the optimism of youth!

I'm older than you and you are cherry-picking isolated and localized examples all which could have been resolved with court action on the part of the government instead of establishing an agency which was supposed to be able to divine regulations that would prevent bad players from polluting.

You don't prevent evil.

You punish it.

So rather then have one air regulation, you think it's better for a few hundred thousand residents down-wind file lawsuits?

That's not a very economically sound solution.

No, I expect the States and the Feds to do it in the name of their citizens.

Please, stop the ridiculous argumentation.

You cannot prevent crime.

For a long time, we ignored pollution because of sparse population and vast space, a little local polluting was deemed as harmless, but as we grew, it became a concern. Instead of choosing the right, and Constitutional, redress for criminal activity, politicians jumped in to give the appearance of "doing something" about the problem in the name of chasing votes to the point that now, we can be held hostage by the regulations and enforcers of unelected and faceless bureaucrats, which is a greater crime than the purposeful polluter.

How would it be 'criminal' without regulation proscribing the behavior?

Set aside your dogma and live in the real world.

All the State's Attorney General has to do is demonstrate damages in a criminal and civil suit.

It is against the law to poison someone, anyone, any entity as a whole.

Now you are being disingenuous.

;) ;)

Remember, the path to higher office is successful prosecution.

It's time to shut off left wing propaganda financed by the taxpayer. Let them stand on their own. If people want to hear that crap they will succeed.

Indeed.

If there is demand for their product, they will succeed. The government no longer needs to make sure everyone has access to information and education with such a plethora of platforms from which to choose.

The truth is, when they were established there was no shortage of left wing propaganda in the marketplace of ideas. They were essentially ideological overkill.

Between Wilson, FDR and LBJ, we have had no shortage of Progressive ideology being implemented.

PBS is the precursor to what Obama was advocating, get the children into a government school just as soon as they can be potty-trained in order to abrogate their natural human behavior.

*chuckle*

That's like predicting that Trump could never win the nomination or the election.

Lord knows I did over and over...

Yes, and sacrifice their childhood for an "in your face" socialist indoctrination to prepare them for duty as good Democrat automatons in the future.

They tailored their means of manipulation and indoctrination to the psychological profile of each generation.

Millenials are less individualistic and more group oriented than the previous generations.

Perfect for the concept of collectivization of society writ large.
