My husband has a really hairy chest and belly. He'd look silly with no pubes.

Trimmed is nice, but not absolutely essential for me. It's really all about good hygiene, and hairy ≠ dirty.

It's just my IMO, but the only thing a guy really needs to shave bald is his back. It's ok to trim the pubes but hair down there is....NICE. I'll stop there so I can wipe the drool away from the lewd thoughts...

I think it really depends on the lover with a guy shaving down there. I know there are lots of gay men who want their 'girl' to be shaved. Personally I am all for him trimming, but a full shave i don't know mostly it's just kinda silly looking.

I mean unless your trying to be a pornstar, crossdressing or wearing one of those speedo's there really isn't a point in shaving, to me anyway. Pornstars do it I think because it gives people a better view of them moving in whoever they got him to do a scene with. Not a fan of completely shaved on my men. Nothing wrong with it per se, I just find it visually unappealing.

A nice short trim is fine by me. I don't want hairs when taking care of business.

I've shaved my balls and trimmed the rest, I feel it looks nicer and my girlfriend has agreed that it's nicer for her too. The main reason I keep it shaved is that it took such a bloody long time to do the first time and I don't want to have to go through that again
I haven't got very hairy legs, just a small snail trail up my stomach, nothing much on my chest and (as far as I know) nothing on my back so I don't think it looks strange on me.

As someone above said, it's up to the gf (or bf) technically it's easier to keep it hyginic, but if we all wash anyway, what does it really matter

I shave everyday. Never had anybody complain thus far that they didn't get to pluck my pubes from their mouth after blowing me. I think I'll keep shaving until I get a complaint or no longer able to be blown.

I used to shave everything down there...and my s/o loved it. Problem was one time there was a little stubble there when we had sex, my stubble poked her clit (NOT GOOD). Therefore, I now trim that area nicely and shave the balls. She loved it with everything shaved, but only when it was super-smooth/perfect.
It works out better to shave the boys and trim the rest.
I am fairly hairy, btw, so I regularly shave all my stomach hair and chest hair and nick any extraneous back hair at that time. (She helps).

Once a month I have my girlfriend trim my hair, starting at my head and going all the way down, kind of like Hal from Malcom in the Middle hahaha.
