Guy's always had a crush on the girl next door. They of course never do more than hold hands and say they're dating when they're little, which their parents think is just cute. Time goes on and the boy is a savant, going to university at 13 while the girl he likes goes to high school. They still hang out when they can but they both get busy. Kid plows through his coursework and his projects get interest from people in high places. By the time he's 16, he's graduated and has made a good chunk of his doctorate program irrelevant due to the nature of his work.
Upon graduation, he sees the girl he's crushing on standing with his dad and her mom. She gives him a kiss on the cheek but something's clearly upsetting her. Turns out, her mom, a nefarious gold-digger, is pregnant with his dad's child and they're getting married. Boy doesn't know what to think and goes through the motions including the wedding. Girl moves in and the baby is born later. Stepmom is indeed very greedy and keeps pressuring her new stepson to let some of his project money take a walk into her bank account. What's more, she made sure her new husband adopted her daughter so she's legally the boy's sister.
Kids reach 18 and stepdaughter is about to enter her last year of high school while guy is working with global experts on a masterpiece. Guy starts getting media attention due to his young age and stepmom starts milking it. All the while, Guy starts seeing his stepsister sexually and finally confesses his feelings...only to be turned down. She says they're legally siblings and it would be illegal. What she doesn't say is that she doesn't want his project ruined if the media exposes them and she knows her mom would blackmail him if she found out.
Guy is distressed and decides to take his project for a test drive. It's of course a space-time conscious switching machine and he activates it. Suddenly he wakes up in a parallel world's version of his body. Maybe this time, he can meet the love of his (short) life under different circumstances.
For example:
Guy wakes up being pulled out of bed by his stepmother. She's yelling at him to stop stalling and go feed his sister. He of course knows nothing about what she's saying and plays dumb, already trying to figure out how he can get back to his old world. That is, until he gets deposited into his sister's room and she's wearing the skimpiest outfit he's ever seen. Sister protests, saying she can just eat later but her mom implores her that her brother's worthless for anything else so he can at least save her lunch money.
Sis pushes him down on the bed and apologizes, promising it won't take long. She pulls his pants off and kisses him. To her surprise, he springs right to attention and passionately kisses her back. She has sex with him right there and is amazed at how passionate he is. She gets up and gets dressed telling him he'll go to school with her today.
Guy gets dressed and then to his shock, he gets collared and leashed. Sis walks him to the bus where everyone aboard laughs at her "feeding" on her brother. She's mortified and heads to the back.
