Guy finds a baby on his doorstep - Found the story

I'm looking for a story I read a while back. Basically a thug finds a baby left on his door with a note. He also tracks down a debtor for a pair of loan sharks.

Edit: I found it. It's a story called Be The Father of This Child by Laura S. Fox. It doesn't appear to be on here but it's on their patron for those interested.
