I decided to forgo the olives in my last one. I don't need the extra pimento in my diet.

Oh i did research on this when i was in school

If i remember correctly, it's red pepper.

AND did you know green olives are black olives BEFORE they turn black? Didn't know this until i did a little research. (thought maybe they were like grapes, came in assorted colors) I had this hang up when i was a kid, i wanted to know all the stupid things that would get me no where in life. And ignore the stuff that would get me somewhere in life.

I'm wrong.. a PIMENTO is allspice or Jamaica pepper, common name applied to the berry of a small West Indian tree of the myrtle family. The tree grows to a height of about 9 m (about 30 ft) and has aromatic, glossy green leaves and terminal cymes of white flowers. The fruit, when dried, is widely used as a spice.

A PIMIENTO is 1. FOOD mild red pepper: a large sweet red pepper that is used especially to stuff olives, as a garnish, and to make paprika

2. PLANTS European pepper plant: a European plant that produces pimiento peppers. Latin name Capsicum annuum


so in essence, my definition was correct.. your spelling was wrong
