I know that this only shows in detail the trusting idiot that I am! I am not only trusting, but also I am also one who doesn't like to be rude to anyone. Therefore I end up with much more than my share of shit like this. I hope that maybe I can spare someone else the disgust of reading the other four posts by Blades2000 and their own e-mail embarrassment.

Yeah, I got the same e-mail from this person, and I told him that I don't cyber. I get quite a few "offers". Frankly, if anyone KNEW anything about me, they wouldn't send me an e-mail about CYBER...when I've made it clear I do NOT cyber. So, it was apparent to me that this person didn't know me all that well anyway.

I also don't authorize those ICQ messages from random idiots who think "Oh, she's from LIT, she wants to fuck." Sorry boys and girls, I don't necessarily want anything. And, if you don't tell me who you are, you'll likely get deleted before you have a chance. Saying "Hi, it's Ravenloft, can you authorize me?" or "Hi, saw you on lit and thought you were sexy"...let's see...who am I going to pick?

I've also had people hound me, send me the ICQ, when they get no response, they e-mail me...if, by chance, they actually pique my interest, I may authorize, only to have them either not accept it, or upon accepting it, they don't have anything to say. Ummm....ok

I get quite a few unsolicited IM requests, but usually accept them. I like talking to people. But there was this one guy who wanted to talk with me while he was at work. The only problem with that was a 10 hour time difference. It was 5:30 am for me and I just have a hard time feeling sexy with hair standing up and sleep in my eyes! He was very persistent.

I don't give out my IM handles, so I've never received any of those, but I do get email. Some of it is from the board, but most of it is from the Member Profiles. Apparently, some people think that it's a catalouge, you just pick the one you want.

The bulk of the email is harmless, I've only responded to a few of them. But every now and then, I get some really creepy ones, like "This is what I am going to do to you" or "I will do this when we are together". That last is my favorite, I think "Uh-huh, when we're together, I'm going to introduce you to my husband who will probably hurt you".
