It's absolutely beautiful. Was afraid to even play it when I bought it. Expensive, but worth it.

Play it, but I would let anyone else touch it, if I had that.

I fucking wash my hands before I pick it up. And yes, no one touches it but me.

I LOVE the 355-never owned one-but have played one.
I have 14 guitars.My 3 faves in order--
1. '72 Cherry Les Paul Custom
2. '99 SRV Strat
3. a beat up early 70's Yamaha FG160--gets better with age!

Goddamam, you rich! :)

Just a year into guitaring...so I've still got my entry-level Takamine Jasmine acoustic...and my white Fender Strat (Mexican). The Strat is very sweet.

Not rich Riff.Music has always been my hobby. No fancy cars or jewelry & clothes. The most I've ever paid for a car was $1900.
Guitar? $3200.Go figure!

I've only been playing for about a year as well.

I have a handmade Norman Acoustic. Made in Quebec. It's beautiful.
I also have Aria Pro II electric. Not so nice, but hey, I aint' complaining.

well, i own a guitar store so i have a bunch to choose from at any time...i personally own a '76 yamaha...don't remember the model but it was pretty much their top of the line acoustic at the time...

i have a 3 year old takamine single cutaway with the onboard electronics...i've worked the action down to just about as sweet as you can get it and it has "melowed" a lot quicker than i ever thought it would...it's my main gig guitar...

i have a '72 silvertone hollow body jazz style guitar with three pickups and the bigsby tremelo...it's got a neck like a baseball bat but it still plays real sweet...

thought someone might enjoy these...i make and sell these electric guitars even though i don't play them much...more of a rhythm sorta dude...

first one was "the hawk" and was a commision, solid walnut body

this one is "state of mind" and is still for sale in my store, solid spalted pecan body....

this one is "stong medicine"....wormy mesquite with an inner core of white oak...a lot of inlaid copper on this one...it will sustain for about three days....

pm me if you want to see any more....

Got 4 - in order of preference:

1. Takamine F-360 accoustic - sweet, clear tone.

2. Stage Guitars GT-440 - Telecaster body style, variety of tones.

3. Peavey Raptor - Nice, functional Stratocaster copy.

4. Lotus LO-35 - Classical, nylon string, excellent tone for a cheap guitar

missy2...i took a 70sumthin' FG160 in trade a few weeks back...cleaned it up and did a little set up on it and it was the best playing, best sounding guitar in the shop for my money...guy comes in, an idiot, and wants it...just wants something to "pick around on"...i tried my best to talk him into something else so that a musician that would appreciate the yamaha could get a chance at it but he insisted that he "really liked the way it looked"....oh well, i'm a whore...i sold it to him...

ok, i'm gonna keep bumpin' this thread until at least one persons looks at one of my custom guitars and tells me how fuckin' cool they are...i went to a lot of trouble to load these suckers up....

(anybody got one of those little smiley thingies that's got his hands on his hips, tappin' his little foot and lookin' kinda stern)

thanks man...didn't mean to get all artist/petulant on ya you know...i'll sleep better tonight....(you didn't really look at them did you)

Well....

I did look at the one with the hawk...then I said 'fuckin cool custom guitars, man'. Then I went back and looked at the others.

Figured I could come back and edit if the other 2 were so mecha lame as to render the lot of them hopelessly dorky. But you were right - fuckin cool custom guitars, man.

I go for the more classic look - my Strat is a nice off white with a pure white pick guard. I really wanted a yellow or light blue one, but the $300 models were limited to the pseudo-death metal colors. There's a yellow Telecaster I've seen that I'd kill for (one day, she will be mine...oh yes...she will be mine.)
