I am so excited, I can't wait to meet ADR.

I have never been over to your/that side of the pond.

I feel like a kid who is waiting for Father Christmas.

I won't be alone. I am going with the new man I have met. Actually it is his holiday I am just tailing along with him

I can't believe I will soon see ADR in real life.

I have to tell you, my 18 yr old son thinks I am having a mid life crisis. He thinks I am crazy to head to Vegas with a man I met on the net, to meet a woman I met on the net.

I don't care what he thinks. I am still excited.



I am already planning my packing, which includes a crate of english tea for ADR lol

I just can't do Vegas. I went there for a weekend a coupla years ago and wanted to die. My eyeballs were drying out. I could feel the moisture in them screaming as it vaporised into plasma. I could feel the hungry desert air leeching life-giving water out of my skin. I was withering as stood there in the brain-searing heat.

It was then that I realised that I truly am part-amphibian, and that the Architect intended man to live in climes that had such wondrous things as humidity in positive integers.

When you told me that I could pick you up at the airport... I was so smiling!!! I figured you would probably take a cab or something.

Honestly, I'm so speechless with excitement, you can't imagine. On my dream list of Lit'sters I'd give anything to meet (and it's a short list, doll), well meeting you will be top drawer!!! (that line should date the hell out of me. bet no one here has even ever heard it! lol)

Like I said, Las Vegas is bright and shiny and gaudy and plastic and fake as all hell and I LOVE IT!!!! I'll make sure you have good memories of it, too!!!

I can't wait for that, Noor!!! I hope you will have time for some fun with me. I know I'll make time, just like with shy. It's nice to be an "independent contractor" because I can pick and choose what, when and where I'll be working. Makes it very easy for me to get the days off that work for you (or shy) or anyone else who comes here and wants to meet with me.

I imagine how much fun it will be... spring is nice (sometimes a bit windy) here.

We'll have a great time!!!!

I've met only about 9 people from Lit: 5 from the GB, 1 who posts mainly at HowTo and 3 from here.

I've not been disappointed yet. Every one of them has been as much like their online "persona" as they were in real life.

ShadowsDream, RJ and Etoile were by far the most gracious and sincere people I've ever been lucky enough to meet face to face. What you see online, with them, is the same as what you'd see over a cup of coffee in a restaurant.

I have no doubt that shy will be the same. And I hope I don't disappoint her. This has to be one of the best Christmas/birthday presents I'll ever get!!!

Now if we could just get rebecca and a few others in a plane that week...
